Fog & Mørup was a established 1904 and sold to Lyfa in 1978. The company was based in Copenhagen and had about five shops in Denmark. Fog & Mørup is most well known for there production during the 1950s and 1960s. Designer in chief was from 1957 Jo Hammerborg.

Jo Hammerborg (1920–1982) was a Danish lighting designer best known for his work with the lighting company Fog & Mørup, where he was head of design from 1957 to 1980. With a background in both silversmithing and design, Hammerborg brought a modern, clean aesthetic to lighting.
He created over 100 lamp designs, many featuring sleek lines, brushed metal, and innovative use of form and function. His work reflects the core principles of Danish modern design: simplicity, elegance, and practicality.
Today, his lamps are considered design classics and are highly sought after by collectors.
