Round Handcrafted Mirror, Solid Copper Frame, Scandinavian Mid-Century Style
Round Handcrafted Mirror, Solid Copper Frame, Scandinavian Mid-Century Style
A quietly charming round mirror with real workshop character. Ø 35 cm.
The frame is solid copper with a soft brushed finish, warm and tactile with the kind of patina only age gives. The mirror glass itself is pieced from two cut plates rather than one round sheet — a detail that speaks to home workshop craftsmanship rather than factory production. It's the kind of joinery a skilled amateur would use: cutting round glass was hard to source or expensive, so two rectangular pieces were trimmed and set together instead. The seam is part of its story, not a flaw.
Warm copper tones, a soft vintage patina to the glass, and a compact scale that suits an entryway, a gallery wall, or leaning on a shelf. A one-of-a-kind piece — probably made once, by hand, and never quite like it again.
