Arne Norell (1917–1971) was a Swedish furniture designer renowned for his timeless and versatile creations. He established his own workshop in the 1950s and later founded the company Arne Norell AB in Aneby, Sweden. Norell had a strong interest in combining traditional craftsmanship with modern comfort, often experimenting with materials such as leather, wood, and steel. Many of his designs, including the iconic “Inca” and “Ari” chairs, remain in production today and are celebrated worldwide for their elegance, functionality, and relaxed Scandinavian style.
