Stig Lindberg (1916–1982) was one of Sweden’s most beloved designers, known for his imaginative ceramics, playful patterns, and innovative forms. Working for Gustavsberg for most of his career, he created everything from functional tableware to whimsical decorative pieces, as well as textiles, illustrations, and industrial designs.
Lindberg’s work is instantly recognizable for its charm, bold use of color, and ability to merge artistry with everyday function. His designs, such as the Bersa tableware and intricate studio ceramics, remain highly collectible, celebrated for their craftsmanship, creativity, and timeless Scandinavian appeal.
