Paul Envalds (born 1945 in Helsinki) is a celebrated Finnish ceramicist known for his sculptural stoneware crafted during the late 20th century. After completing his studies in ceramics at Aalto University’s School of Arts, Design and Architecture in 1971, Envalds went on to create exquisite hand-thrown works under his own studio in Seutula.
Envalds’s designs are deeply rooted in modern Nordic aesthetics—rich in organic forms, earthy textures, and artisanal detail. His elegant vases and bowls, often signed “PE” or stamped "Studio Envalds Finland," were made in the 1970s and reflect a harmonious blend of simplicity, sophistication, and timeless appeal. Collectors highly value his pieces today for their sculptural beauty and authentic craftsmanship, which continue to resonate in contemporary interior design circles.
