The Horseman bracelet by Kirsti Doukas for Kalevala Koru
Kalevala Koru collaborated with the Savonlinna Opera Festival to create a series of opera-themed jewellery between 2003 and 2007. Ratsumies/The Horseman, designed by Kirsti Doukas, was the third piece in the series. The series, which was presented in the summer of 2005, is inspired by Aulis Sällä's opera of the same name and by the world of equestrian sports.
